This week’s spellings

Rule: Adding the suffix ‘ly’ to change the adjective into an adverb.

Weird word warning: When the root word ends in a y, change the y to an i before adding the suffix ly e.g. happy turns into happily.

The children will be tested on these words on Monday 15th November.

Spelling log books  should come to school daily along with children’s AR book(s) and reading record. Please encourage daily reading at home for 10-15 minutes and record this reading in your child’s reading records.
